Fall Travel - part 1

The first of many trips. . . and what a great way to start. I started in Shishmaref then traveled south to Brevig Mission. After leaving here I will head farther west to visit Savoonga and then Gambell; all in 10 days! Here are some photos of Brevig, Shish and the scenery from the air on my travels between the villages. (ps- the pictures are backwards, on top is Brevig. . . then Shish. . . then a few Nome pics :)

Doesn't this look cool? Can you tell what it's a picture of?

My New Job!

That's right, I'm a mentor teacher! What an honor to help new teachers in the profession! I will be traveling to many villages in the western part of the state, and will be going to sites within the school district I have been working for the last five years. I will continue to live in Unalakleet, and will be traveling in and out of Nome to reach my sites. The sites include, Savoonga and Gambell on St. Lawerance Island, Little Diomede, Shishmaref and Brevig Mission.

I hope to keep my blog updated with amazing sights and stories that I'm bound to have over the next 9 months. Don't miss out!

Thailand: Step 2

Bangkok:

Bangkok was a huge bustling city that had lots to offer. I saw many temples, many images of Buddha, did tons of shopping at several markets, and saw the Grand Palace.
