Ethiopian Night
Well I did it again- I shared my summer travels with friends through a meal and a viewing of my pictures. We tasted shiro and dorowat (a spicy bean dip of sorts, and stewed chicken in red pepper sauce).

The food wasn't perfect, but it sure was hot enough to keep everyone talking about it!! I also had some dabbo (bread), kolo (baked barley) and some candy treats from the trip (cardomon candy is very unique). I set up a projector on the wall to share a selection of pictures (with over 1000 to choose from, it wasn't an easy choice :) and the stories that went with them. It was great fun and turned out better than I had planned :)

thanks to all who made the evening possible-
